Kinoko grinned when she heard Tharsus' words and in no way was it a nice, "My dear sir, nobody needs weapons to be afraid of death. People are afraid of death with or without the help of sharp, pointy objects."

Unexpectedly, Matthew spoke up quietly as well, "It's true that weapons might cause people to lose their lives sooner rather than later, but if you don't know how to use a weapon, then you might not live until the next day."

Kinoko laughed, "Good answer, Matt. Ah, we're here."

They stopped in front of a tattered-looking old shop with dirty windows and a closed sign barely visible through the grimy glass. All in all, it didn't look like much.

"So this is it. Looks old and there is a sign that says that it is closed right over there it is hard to see, but it is there." Tharsus said in the nicest way possible hoping that his coments would not hurt anyones feelings.

Tharsus' shirt started to slowly fade white.

Kinoko snorted, "Like hell the old man's closed," she slid a thin piece of metal out of her pocket and inserted it in the lock. With a few picks, the lock sprang open with a click and Kinoko pocketed her lockpick smugly, "Not closed anymore. She rattled the doorknob and scowled when she found that the ancient door was jammed to the doorframe, "He needs big time maintenance," she muttered, blowing the door open with a well-placed kick to the doorknob.

An old man rushed into view, scattering dust motes and scrap metal, toting a dangerous looking weapon, "Alrigh' which smartass wants ter swaller lead?" he growled, squinting in the sudden light that filtered through the open door, "Eh? Kinoko?" he lowered his rifle with a grunt, "Ye could've knocked, ye know," he grumbled, "Well, what're ye standin' in th' doorway like a buncha shot ducks? Come in!"

He limped slightly as he led them to the back room, not bothering to see if they were following or not.

Isn't that illegal, i think they call that breaking and entring," Tharsus said as Kinoko kicked down the door.

When Tharsus saw the dangerus looking weapon he perposely use a little of his magic to keep his distain from showing, but his eyes never lie.

Tharsus looked at Kinoko to see if she was going to follow the old man or just stand around. If she followed he would follow to.

OOC: i had one that was longer but i acidentaly pushed f5 which refreshed the screen.

Kinoko shrugged as she remembered Tharsus' question, "Breaking and entering? Yea. I know it's illegal. But it's not much of a door anyways."

"Ah heard tha'!" came the shout from the other room as several somethings clanked against a hard surface.

"And it's true!" Kinoko yelled back, motioning to a wide-eyed Matthew and Tharsus, "Come on. And if he offers you tea, say thank you, drink it, and never refuse."

Matthew followed meekly as Kinoko skipped over piles of scrap parts on the floor and entered the back door, "Old man, haven't you ever heard of showing your guests in?"

He just grunted, "Take a seat."

Thetiqua looked around the vicinity wondering what the heck Kinoko and this other guy were talking about. It couldn't be anything interesting...

Thetiqua looked around and saw a little deer demon boy.

"Excuse me, sir."she said meekly to him,"Do you know how to get around this place?"

The child stared at her and hopped away after 30 whole seconds of staring.

"...I guess not."Thetiqua sighed, and planted her finger in her hair, tugging it's silky strands at its roots.

OOC: I don't really know what to type, so it's kinda random.

Should I sit down or should I wait for Kinoko to sit down, Tharsus thought to himself as they were asked to sit down.

Tharsus made his decision quickly and he waited for Kinoko to sit down before he would sit down.

So Tharsus waited because ladies first and he didn't want to sit if he didn't have to.

Kinoko sighed, pushing aside a pile of old papers on the seat beside her carelessly and gesturing for Matthew to take a seat amidst the dust the began rising in dense clouds and cleared a seat for herself,

"Long time since I've been here. How long has it been since spring cleaning, eh?" she jibed deliberately as Matthew looked around with wide eyes.

"Ignorant child," he muttered, pouring some brand of noxious brew from an ancient teapot into several cracked cups.

Kinoko took one as he slid it towards her and took a sip. If the concoction burned her throat her debilitated her taste buds, she gave no indication as she shook her head when he offered Matthew a cup,

"Sorry, too young for alcohol."

"Too young indeed," the old man, Dante, snorted as he handed a cup to Tharsus, "When I was his age, I was headin' off ta th' bar every night ta drink... Here, 'twill do ya a world'a good."

Tharsus sat down at the table. Then being offered a drink, that he figures out has alcohol in it, responds to the man offering it to him by saying:

"I'm sorry, I must decline, my family has a problem with alcoholism, and I would prefer not to figure out if I have the same problem with alcoholism."

Kinoko grinned but hid it behind the rim of the cup as she drank as Dante retrieved the cup and downed the contents in one gulp, "Eh, youngsters these days. So whaddaya want?" he asked abruptly, pointing an accusing finger at Kinoko, "Last Ah remember, Ah dun remember invitin' ya."

Kinoko put a nonchalant expression on her face and shrugged, "Hey, what can I say? Matt needs some weapons and honestly? I can't trust anyone else's make."

Dante stared at her suspiciously with narrowed eyes, "What about yer boyfriend, th' blue one with th' stash of weapons? Ah'd give me horns fer a collection like tha'."

Kinoko took another sip of the liquid in her cup and neglected to point out that Kharl was in fact not her boyfriend, "Well, yes. But I'd like Matt to have some deer-made weapons and to be honest? You're the best one I know," she indicated Tharsus with a nod of the head, "Perhaps you'd like to take this one in a million opportunity to buy a deer-make weapon? You're never gonna get a chance from this old geezer."

"I probably would take this oppertunity to buy some deer made weapons if it wasn't for my lack of skill with weapons and lack of need for weapons. I have other ways to protect myself, but I might change my mind after I see the weapons," Tharsus replied to Kinoko.
