OOC: A new begining!! What will happen in this post.

Kibbly stood out side of the door of his most recent ally. The image stood vividly in his mind. The horror of the scene. He and his ally ran in to a group of fox demons. They first exchanged insults. Soon it was a fistfight than it was all out magic and weapons. Kibbly could not save his friend from a deadly blow. What made Kibbly feel worse is that he made it out with barely a scratch wile his ally had laid in pool of blood. Kibbly had just lost his closest friend. Yet he was unable to cry. He felt guilty and his face showed it plainly. He was waiting for some positive news from the nurse. He was soon ushered out in to the waiting room where he could sit. His whole demeanor was depressed and full of pain.

./OOC;` Shoot. One would think Kinoko's in enough threads... Fine. Just to push the poor guy over the edge.

Kinoko strolled into the infirmary, looking left and right for the young bird demon who had come into her shop the other day. She had more information that should help her, but... She had no idea where the girl could be! So she was trying out the most obvious area one might look for information: the hospital. If you think about it, it's not that bad of an idea.

Her mother didn't like to read much, but Fahru persistently sat by her side in the hope that...what? The words would heal her?

Spoken words were comforting, in their own way. They drowned out the anguished screams of other, rapidly deteriorating, patients; they helped her forget her mother was going to die soon as well.

So she read aloud. She didn't even bother with a chair, but sat next to the bed, leaning against the side table, and used whatever recent book she decided she liked. Most of the time, her mother seemed to listen.

"Rafe tried to appear casual as he walked in a wobbly line 'tords the bar, sitting next ta tha other cloaked figure. The bartender turned around fr'm previously pouring drinks to squint suspiciously at their sim-ular forms," Fahru paused as her mother cleared her throat; she reached for the glass of water next to her and handed it up to the waiting hand. She continued,

"'What do you want? Rafe hissed quietly, before calling out, 'Just a tea, ta.'

The bartender shook his head. Having a tea at a tavern, tsk tsk. Anyways, it was a customer, so he began t' dig through tha drawers in front of him for tea... leaves...," Fahru looked up as a few forms walked by the closed curtains surrounding her mother's area. Waiting until the footsteps were farther away, she more quietly continued to read.

OOC: The misspelled words/slang are there for a reason. Fahru doesn't speak very clearly at all times, so...

I'm just waiting for someone to hold up one of those cards with squiggles on them, asking what it reminds me of. Then I can tell them that, yes, it is *still* a squiggle.

No reaction. Hn. She should be insulted. Whatever. She was here for a reason, right? Oh yea, the girl from her cafe. Rumors of strange things happening. All along the trail of contacts she kept. It was enough for her. In a line of about thirty reliable people, the story shouldnt' have been distorted that much.

She stuck her hands into the spacious pockets of her coat, walking up to the counter, "Excuse me," she asked, trying to get the attention of the harrassed secretary, "Excuse me?"

"May I help you?" the woman finally said, turning around and choking out the platitudinous offer in a strained voice.

Kinoko shook her head, "Sorry to bother you," not really, "but I'm looking for someone who might have family here? I believe her name is Fahru Ahsayun," she knew her name was, "who might have family here... Her parents I believe. Could you please direct me to their room?"
