Hoo-kay, time to bust out t3h inner meanie. I posted this earlier in the chatterbox, but that's probably not the best idea...anyway... Have you ever felt the intense, patent urge to rant incessantly about something? Anything at all? Well, state your litanies here. So, this is sort of like a ripple effect as in someone initiates the laments, and the next person ululates, too. Your wails can be pertinent to the previous subject or something totally new. Arbitrary is encouraged here! All right, I'll start... People who delude themselves into believing that they can write and impose their gaglicious stories upon innocent bystanders. I think it's safe to say that we all have an attachment to our retinas and would highly appreciate for them not to be scorched. Yes, that would be tragic, woudn't it? I'm all for "expand your creativity, unleash your inner self" and all that lovely crap, but still...if you can't write, don't promulgate erroneous advertisements that SAY you can. Writing for your own enjoyment is wonderful, but don't practically force other people to read the puerile garbage. Trust me, it's not a pleasant experience. Last night, someone was importuning us about this !spectacular story she wrote, and we all shuffled over to peruse it because we didn't want to go deaf - sadly, we went without discretion. The thing turned out to be egregious. It was so horrid that my eyes were bleeding. Well, whatever. I'm not exactly frinds with her, anyway, so I'll just let it go this time. Honestly, I'm an inclement person and generally wouldn't vacilitate to butcher someone for the the slightest offense, Hey, at least I have to the courage to confess my infirmities. ;D -V

Hehehe. XD I never go just because someone tells me to... I go when I know that person and they have good taste... Generally. I mean, Lark tells me to read something? Heck yea, I'm scramming there as fast as my puny-short legs will carry me. Doi. When You Own the Universe? Advocate? Lovely.
Only complaint I have is that I can't choose a good story for beans. Summaries tell you NOTHING. Absolutely, friggin'ditherin'lutely NOTHING. You think it's, oh, wow, cool summary!! And ten seconds later, you're in the corner of woe clutching your head in mortal pain and honestly wishing you could find a shovel and dig your grave. I mean, honestly. Ugh. [glow=silver,2,300]...walking this road without you... remaking forgotten promises... and meet you at road's end... [/glow]

So you just like, rant here? Complain, gripe, whatever? Like "You know what really grinds my gears?" Kinda thing? Huh............ Well...... NORMALLY I don't have grievances enough to rant about it, but I think I can make an exception for this thread. I've been thinking lately about people. About their supposed interests, and the things they are subjected to, or subject themselves to. More specifically I think of political things, government in general. To get even more to the point, are people really that stupid? I've been watching commercials for "propositions" that will effect the state. I see one thing that tells me, "this is good" then I see another that not only denounces it, but says the EXACT opposite! It makes me wonder, who is the idiot running that?! The "this is good" commercial says it will lower gas prices, and provide cleaner alternative fuel sources. That's good, what could be the downside right? So, the "this is bad" version of the tale is it doesn't DEMAND results. So I'm thinking............. WHA?! So, because it demands no results, SUDDENLY I should change my mind, DESPITE the fact that it can do nothing but good otherwise? Yeah........ people are really stupid. Wow, quite a rant from me, I'd normally never do such a thing. That was fun

My dear evagorn, ranting is the source of life and the motivation to continue existing. ^^ Speaking of which, I have another one... =.=
You wanna know what? I hate freshmen now. At least, I hate a particular group of freshmen as I know I have a particular group of freshmen I just happen to like a lot over at Westview... But that's not the point at all.
WTF is wrong with them?? It's a flipping free country and we can be as flipping loud as we darn well please!! What happened to respect for your elders?? Eesh! They should all be shipped to military school and experience the caste system there for a while!! Better yet, ship them off to Asia schools. See how they manage against evil teachers who get the right of everything. Hmph.
Though I've got to say, I would never have been able to crack up for quite as long if it weren't for them. *BEEP*ing losers... >> It's also why Risha's my new hero. ^^ Playing the dialogue over [in my head]:
Blake: *all of a sudden because Kinoko was playing GBA and not paying attention* Wha?? Wolfie: AhahahAAHAHAHA!! Kinoko: What? What happened? Wolfie: Risha just said, "Poor Blake. You're never going to get STD's." Kinoko: What? XDDD Risha: It's true! Blake, you're going to be a virgin for the rest of your life! Kinoko: Hence him living in a pixelated square. Kendra: OMG, I told Mr. Dorr that I have a friend who thinks that tampons make you lose your virginity. And he asked me what kind of crackpot would think that! Kinoko: This kinda crackpot!! ^____________^ Risha: Well... It actually <censored because we'd like to keep this at least semi PG-13>... Kinoko: Eh. True. Angeline: OMG, why are we even talking about this?? Kinoko: She started it. *points at Kendra* Kendra: No, she started it! *points at Risha* Random-Stupid-Retarded-Idiotic-FreshmanFrom the Land of Hell Before Time:-

0.o;; Kinoko, first of all, why the furuba are you being so damn benevolent towards putrid, repugnant freshmen? Ever heard of seniority? Psh, apparently not. *harrumphs indignantly* I had this sort of incidence last week. This audacious freshamn boy with an outredcuidance the size of Canada telling me to shut up! Well, let's not go into the details, but I managed to silence him forever without emasculation or a sanguinary conflict of catastrophic porportions. Now, him and his commensurately hideous fiends friends stay at least twenty feet away from me.

Merph, writers who can't write well piss me off too. For example... I'M A WRITER WHO CAN'T WRITE WELL. D:
Anyways. Prepare for a run-on sentence.
I hate research papers because they need to follow MLA format and MLA format drives me nuts, especially the stupidly fickle rules they have about formatting and all that crap like how wide the margins should be and how to properly document a source and my idiot teacher says he'll go over the paper with a fine tooth comb and take a ruler and measure out EVERYTHING FREAKING MARGIN and take off 5 points for every error, whilst I have only 100 points to spare, and therefore, I AM SCREWED.
Thank you. *clap clap clap*

OMG! I shall commence to genuflect myself before you glorious words of pure sapience. Research papers need to DIE! We have this incredulously retarded one for humanities, and my topic is La Primavera by Botticelli. Fine, perfect, sublime, whatever, reight? Heh, no. We have to do SIXTY friggin' notecards. SIXTY! with crapalicious commentary. What the furuba? My teacher's on drugs, I tell you, D R U G S. Kids, forget everything that your teachers ever commented on about drugs 'cause you know that's all hypocricy. >.< Oh, and the magnificent thing called a bibliography. I got a damn fifteen points marked down just 'cause I didn't have it in the "correct format". Who the frick care? I sure as heck don't. Afterwards, he gave us a thirty six (my friend timed it) lecture on "the language of MLA". I swear, it was torture. My poor ears; they were hemorhagging like crazy. -V

Yay!!!! This is gonna be the most awesome thread ever!! Well, I don't believe I could tell the story quite as well as Kinoko. So I'm going to let her type the rest of it. I'll just be the witness that says it's all true. ^-^

Lol, I despise MLA format with a fire. The ONLY reason its there is because the teaching community as a whole thinks all students are stupid as heck. I said it, and I speak the truth! It just goes along with my other comment that people are stupid. Not people here of course because they know the difference But I'm sure you all could agree that the majority of people are stupid, especially teachers and their demonic writing formats. Its really irritating. As for freshmen, they aren't so bad, I mean you were a freshmen once right? Although..... Percent of smart freshmen: 10% Percent of stupid freshmen: 10% Percent of REALLY stupid freshmen: 80% These numbers can be directly computed to students of any grade level seniority is a farce, age does not make one smarter. Dang, ranting, its crazy lol.

*laughs* Rants pretty much summarizes my life. My one true passion. My one true pairing. Yes, I momentarily declared snarky obloquies as my OTP. Humph, doesn't get any more pathetic than that.
Freshmen, eh...let's not digress there. I can abide them, but the [level] of toleratoin is extremely minuscule. They're so ludicrous most of the time and never fail to extenuate circumstances. Then again...I abhor most people, so perhaps that's just an idiosyncracy. Yay for misanthropy. *applauds*

S'like I said, most people are pretty stupid, like the kind that make commercials, they are stupid, I have a special hate for those people. Hmmm, I can't really think of another good rant topic as of yet, so I'll step out for a bit

Hoo kay! I've got another one, albeit it's not a rant per se.
All right, I need to choose a charming title. Should it be...
A. Underneath a Parisian Sky
B. Parisian Sky
? Please help. This is imperative for me. *pouts*
