./OOC;` You weren't forgotten. XD You got carried to the doctor's by Grit, so wake up there and tell him to bring you back. XD And poke her harder. XD
Kinoko smiled wryly, "Actually, he only taught me close-up combat. I had other teachers for... other things. I'll be right back with that."
She meandered over to the table where Jerik was sitting, "Good evening, Sir. Here's the menu, I'll be right back, alright?"
And then she hurried over to the doorway - she's busy, ain't she? - to beam at the demon - fox, she was pretty sure - in the cloak, "Hello, would you like a seat? We have a vast selection of fountain drinks, snacks, dinner entrees, alcoholic beverages, and the like."
The person in the cloak smiled as the back door leading to the kitchen opened, "My, you're never this nice to me when you know it's me," he said, sliding back the hood to reveal long silver-blue hair and the same mischievous green eyes.
Kinoko gaped at him, then hit him with her menu.
"...Ow." he said mildly and more than just a bit sarcastically.
Matthew, who had come down the stairs with an impatient Amadeus in tow tugged on Kinoko's sleeve, "Kinoko, this is my friend Phantasma. He wanted to meet you. Hi, Kharl."
Amadeus wave a sketchy wave with his left hand, "Hey," he greeted her, narrowing his eyes at Kharl.
Kinoko abruptly turned her back on all of them to grab a tray to fill a glass with red wine and practically stalked back to Ark's table, "Here you are, Sir. Please enjoy!" she said, with just a hint of strained cheerfulness and went over to Jerik's table, "Are you ready to order, Sir?"
Kharl chuckled and Matthew looked up at him in curiosity. "She'll get over it," he explained, "And you're Phantasma, I presume?" he inquired of the cat, politely extending his hand as if he couldn't recognize the waves of hostility rolling off of the other in waves.
"Amadeus," he replied brusquely, ignoring the hand. Kharl raised an eyebrow in eerie imitation of Kinoko and smiled again, "Pleased to see you again, then."
Drey opened the door a crack, peeking into the dim interior of the "bar", then slid in. His eyes scanned the room for a familiar person and he found one, in the form of the beautiful Hanshou herself, "Hanshou!"

Jerik was still obseving the crowed when Kiniko gave him the menu. Jerik did not seem to pay any attention the menu. He was still trying to get a full perspective of the diffrent kinds of demons that were attracted to this place.
"Are you ready to order, Sir?"
"Um... Did you ... o um ... no not yet sorry." Jerik had not even looked at the menu when he was asked to order. He quick picked up the menu and started to read it. What is there to eat?
OOC: Ya some times he gets a little preoccupied to. Old people.

./OOC;` Vivi, you are so unlucky... =.= Get better soon, kk? ^^
Kinoko beamed, thrusting her upsetness away like a good girl, "Well, Sir, if I may suggest something, our beef steak is absolutely unparalleled. Top that off with a nice glass of cold red wine and some ice cream for dessert, you would find yourself very satisfied. Or, if you don't like heavy meat, we have some very nice Caesar salads I could bring for you," she saw the preoccupation on his features, "I'll give you some more time to decide."
Kinoko waltzed into the kitchen, starting up the soup and turning on the stove to heat the frying pan, turning with the same movement to pull a couple frozen chunks of meat out of her freezer. The camera above her head showed more visitors, the demons who frequented Requiem's Heart. Kharl was suddenly there, tying on one of her aprons, "Do you always do this by yourself?"
"I thought you were just passing through," she retorted, chopping up vegetables with ferocious intent.
"Actually, I'm on official leave to track down new bounty prospects, he replied easily, dribbling oil into the pan, "Derek's safehouse is nearby so I'll be staying there. Unless you'd like to offer me board at your place?" he asked, watching as she tossed the vegetables into the pan. He took the spatula from her and commenced stirring as the oil popped viciously.
Kinoko thumped his stomach lightly, grabbing a pad of paper and a pen as she went out, "Gimme a break; you'd ruin my reputation for the rest of my stay here."
Kinoko stopped at each table to collect orders and to fulfill orders of drinks. She constantly sent her breezes to and from her to the kitchen to tell Kharl exactly what was needed outside. Her cafe was filling up, only this time with demons.
Having stopped by the table in the back to throw a menu at Serena - which Vincent duly catched before it could collide with her forehead - she told them to order something, Hanshou included and trotted back to Jerik's table, "Ready to order, Sir?" [glow=silver,2,300]...walking this road without you... remaking forgotten promises... to meet you at road's end... "Um the um do you serve Spice Veggie Enchiladas?" Jerik did not really look at the menu but he was hoping that one of his personal favorites would be served. She must have something like this. She did mention stake. "Water would be fine also. I really don't care for wine." Jerik remembered the many accidents that he had seen because of drivers that had a little too much of alcoholic beverages. OOC: Gosh I hate big words I had to add the water thing just to make it long enough.

Kinoko smiled, jotting a couple of notes down on her pad, "Yes, I do believe we can make something to that effect. I'll be right back!" she said, picking up his menu and going back into the kitchen.
Kharl set down more dishes on her waiting tray, "How you do this alone is beyond me," he commented, dropping one last piece of meat on the platter, "Aren't you so glad to have my assisstance?"
"Charmed," she grinned at him before picking up her tray to deliver to the proper owners. On her way by his table, she handed Ark a menu, "Let me know if you'd like to order," she said, giving him a cheery thumbs-up. She stopped by Jerik's table as well, "Here is your water, Sir." [glow=silver,2,300]...walking this road without you... remaking forgotten promises... to meet you at road's end... So innocent now, its hard to believe she could injure anyone. Ark thought calmly. As she passed by his tabled he stopped her, grabbing her arm. "Stay away from him." His voice was low but radiating serious "He'll kill you, stay away from him a the same to everyone you know, I'd hate to see you be hurt." After his warning he released her. "I think I'll just have the steak, I heard you talking about it and it sounds good." He said audibly, distracting anyone that may or may not have been listening in.
Stay alive, He thought to himself, Its one bounty better left unfulfilled.

Niam stepped through a wall and looked at the room. It was so cozy and cute!~ She paused for a moment looking at all the decorations and sneaked into the kitchen to see the food being prepared.
"Delicious! I would definitely come here every night, honey! I'm so glad someone works hard to make sure everyone has lovely food like this," Niam patted the waitress on the head before drifting happily to a table farthest away from the door. She did a double take as she realized there were more than a few bird demons conversing around the room, and two were right in front of her.
"Splendid!" Niam exclaimed before reaching a hand into the female's head. She faded into particles before relocating inside her mind.
~~~OO inside a mind XD~~~ Whiteness. Fahru wiped her eyes before looking around. Besides her, everything was white. It was hard to tell where the floor ended and where a wall began.
"Darling!" Startled, Fahru whipped around, prepared to punch, but her hands fell to her sides after seeing who it was.
"Uh, hello?" Their voices were somewhat muted and blurry, as if this was just a dream.
Niam petted her hair, and being too startled, Fahru did not brush her hands away. Finally, Niam asked, "Hasn't life been terrible to you?"
"What?" Fahru tried to edge away slow enough that the very strange lady would not notice. "Uhh, well...not really."
"Oh. That's good! But wouldn't you want to meet your grandparents again? Or escape this horrid, violent world before your disease causes you more pain?"
This lady is a nut case.
Well, not bird crazy, but like, insane.
"Honey that's not nice at all! Why would you say that?" Niam started to tear up.
Bewildered, Fahru clapped a hand over her mouth. "I didn't say anything aloud!"
"But this is your mind, sweetie. I can hear everything!"
After a moment of Fahru staring in horror at her, Niam continued blissfully. "So would you like an early spot in my halls, darling?"
"What, like, die?"
"It'd be painless, really! Then you could live--well, exist with your grandparents and everyone already in my halls! It would not hurt, and I'm sure you'd enjoy it more than--"
Fahru nearly went bug-eyed. This lady wants to KILL me?! I have to get out of here!
"Honey, it won't hurt a bit! And I won't be killing you, I'll be saving you," Niam protested, trying to pet her hair again.
Fahru bit her lip as she tried not to scream in annoyance. This lady was irritating!!
"Look, lady--"
"Eh..." the desk lady pointed toward a door. "there is doctor Ginny"
Grit then burst in the room, "Please this bird demon fainted or something, please help her!"
"Oh, OK" Ginny then checked out the bird demon on the bed thing they have in there and said, "shes in a coma like state, shes not in a critical condition though."
"Oh, no!" Grit then sat down and hoped shes wake up soon.
Hanshou was sitting on a stool at what was now the bar with nothing to do but turn her head sideways once in awhile to observe interesting beings that had just come in. How long it's been, she doesn't know, but she must've dosed off without anyone noticing. Settling in her seat, she drank some lemonade out of a glass that was right at her hand, when someone called her. Surprised, she turned around to see Drey at the door. When did he get here? She grinned and waved at him to come take a seat.
Now that she was aware of the renewed throng of customers, she looked around the room. She noticed an old man who hasn't been at the shop before, and Ark. She chuckled to herself. She hadn't noticed his return either.
The toga lady was weeping with her hands wiping away the tears. Fahru smothered the guilt for making this nice person cry, but she wasn't ready to die yet!
"Bloomin' daisies," Fahru sort-of-swore, before sitting down cross legged.
"You don't want to come to my halls, then? You won't come with me to paradise?"
"No way -- I'd rather stay on this evil earth," Fahru firmly told her, trying to put on a mean face. So far, this was the only way to make the poor lady back down, but she felt awful.
"Alright, d-darling. I-I'll..." Niam sniffed and reached forward to pat Fahru on the head. In the middle of the action, her fingers curled into a fist and dropped back to her side. Biting her lip, she withdrew from the girl's mind. "I can't do anything without your consent, honey--"
------- Niam pulled away her hand and put a hand over her mouth to try and stop the sobs.
"Perhaps I'd better *hic* go take a rest," She glanced sorrowfully at the other occupants of the room. "I'm so sorry, but I promise to help you after *hic*--"
The ghost disappeared from the room.
OOC: Did I already mention that no one but deer can see her? It's cause their brains are the same. *nods* The only reason she can go into the minds of birds is cause they're weakened by the sickness. ---------- Fahru rolled over, only to hit a bedside table, and groaned.
"Owwwww----"
Kinoko was a bit, well, shocked when Ark just grabbed her arm like that, then brightened, "Stay away from who? He's my customer, you know," she beamed, meaning Jerik, "I'll get you that steak right away!" she skipped off, knowing exactly who he was talking about.
Too bad, she thought impishly, I have an appointment tomorrow with him in the Downs. With that happy thought, she waltzed back into the kitchen to more dry remarks from Drey and more meals to deliver.
Drey obeyed with alacrity, ignoring the appreciative looks the other women in the shop gave him as well as the glares the glances turned into when he took a seat by Hanshou, "My dear Hanshou, may I tell you how dreary my existence has been without the pleasure of looking into your own gorgeous eyes?" was his pick-up line this particular night.
Matt blinked. Did that lady just disappear? Shaking his head, he decided he needed more sleep and, tugging on Amadeus' sleeve, drew him over to a table. [glow=silver,2,300]...walking this road without you... remaking forgotten promises... to meet you at road's end...
