A cool breeze fluttered through the trees, carressing the leaves and making them dance. Silver strands of hair dancing with the wind. The birds played their songs, the water acting as a light in the dark, thick forest; a mirror for the moon and sun to envy their own reflections. The forest was alive, it was having its own party, and only those who cared to watch and listen were invited. The flowers were maidens, the shrubs and ferns their escorts. This was the ballroom of the forest at its best. Butterflies flitted through, unexpected guests in the pleasure.
A voice represented them, for those who couldn't hear. A dance, for those who couldn't see. A young wolf demon was the only visible creature for those who were ignorant enough to not be able to see the spirits drifting through the forest. Bangles could be heard on her wrists and ankles, small hoops going through her large wolf ears. Her only companion was her dragon, Tsuki. When the spirits' dance was over, she stopped and sat near the waters' edge. The dragon followed close behind her.
She was in an outfit that was her modification of some of the ceremonial dresses of her pack. A multi layered skirt with a hem of different lengths went to her ankles. She wore nothing on her feet. Each layer of her skirt started at a blue, that was the color of her eyes, and then gradually got lighter until it was edge was white. The hem of her top was short on the right side, but then got longer as it went to the left side, until it was past the waist of the skirt. The top had spaghetti straps, and was a cream color. The silver bangles on her wrists and ankles were set with sapphires that sparkled as they caught the light from the lake. The hoops in her ears were of simple silver, a light contrast to the black of her ears, but metallic against the white silver of her hair. Her hair hung loosely around her going down to her waist, covering the tattoo of a butterfly on her right shoulder blade.
"Well, that was fun, wasn't it, Tsuki?" The male dragon looked at her, she could tell it was saying yes. They couldn't really talk to each other, but they could feel what the other was saying.
