OOC;` Haha. Does it really seem like a restaurant? Nope, it's just Hanshou's residence.
Hanshou looked at Drey questionably. She was about to ask about what dinner, but then her question was immediately answered and her attention shifted to the brochures. She looked at them as Kinoko explained it. "That's so fancy. I wonder if the atmosphere will be too stuffy in there from all the strain." She looked at Kinoko slyly. "Was this your plan? Eh? Since you said you wanted to find someone for me." She grinned. "Well, it's all very flattering...Do you cook?" she asked Drey.
At that moment Ark appeared and she handed him his drink and smiled. "Here you go." When he pulled out flowers, Hanshou was surprised. "Why, thank you! They're beautiful." She shuffled into the house for a vase to put them in when she heard yet another person at the door. She walked towards the door and looked at it questionably and saw the visitor. "Good morning! Are you here for something? You could join us in the back if you want." She headed towards the kitchen and grabbed the vase filled with flowers and placed them on the table as she joined the others again. She seemed a bit cheerful. There was a certain swing to her walk. Her day was just being made.

Kinoko grinned back, just as innocent as Hanshou was being the fox she couldn't possibly be [she's a human, remember], "I never said anything about 'finding someone for you'. I think this is the most perfect way to create rapport for a healthy counselor-client relationship. So to answer your question, say 'yes' and I'll answer the rest of your questions. And you don't need to know if he cooks," Kinoko interrupted as Drey opened his mouth, kicking his shin beneath the table, still retaining the innocent look on her face as her eyes glittered danger of the purest kind - and death - at her human friend who was currently nursing his hurt leg.
Matt stifled a laugh by taking a sip from his drink. Kinoko playing the matchmaker never made it easy on those nearby. But what was this?
Kinoko was glaring with unabashed hatred at the bird demon who had randomly shown up and given Hanshou flowers. Couldn't he see that this was a private visit? And that eternal love was being made, right here, right now? Her fingers itched to throw him in a dumpster or somesuch, but that wasn't happening as Hanshou was going into the house to find a vase for the- the- fertilizer- ARGH! I did mention that Kinoko had anger problems, right?
Drey also stared at the bird with disguised astonishment. A rival, eh? he mused, but not for long before Kinoko flicked a crumb at him irritably, "You ninny, you're just sitting there?"
"What?" came her extremely intelligent answer. Ugh. Men.
"Go get her flowers, stupid," Kinoko bit out slowly, purposely ignoring the bird demon.
"How?" Ever the genius, this guy.
With a glare that would have melted lead, Kinoko yanked at the winds surrounding them furiously, nearly toppling over the umbrella that shaded their table and tearing off the top of the tree nearby. With a twirl of her finger, she had a nice-sized cyclone - understatement, it was as tall as Hanshou's parlor - with which she separated into smaller ones about the size of your average daisy by opening her hands, sending the mini creations zipping through the marketplace, all without breaking a sweat or breaking her -cough- peeved look at Drey. Within moments the tiny tornadoes had returned, depositing a nice selection of roses, morning glories, edelweisses, lilies, and well-leaved stems before Kinoko along with a beautiful blue, silk ribbon.
Narrowing her eyes, Kinoko sent her little minions to work arranging the flowers and tying it neatly before sending it soaring lightly to Drey, who took it with a bit of consternation. Throughout it all, Matthew watched, amused as he always was during magical demonstrations. For good measure, Kinoko pulled out a heart-shaped box of dark chocolate and slid it to Drey.
"Give it to her. Or die," Kinoko bit out, at the end of her tether. Taking a deep breath, she addressed the bird demon with a too-sweet smile, "Hello, Sir. I do recall that Hanshou asked me to remember a particular bird demon who came to my shop and requested that I show you to her fortune-telling room as she takes care of her other guests, so if you do not mind following me, I can have you situated and ready for Hanshou when she finishes in," Kinoko checked her watch surreptitiously, "five minutes," she concluded, "Follow me?"

Ark was greatly amused by this turn of events. Apparently, the fox demon really wanted the human to spend some "Quality time" with Hanshou. It was quite entertaining. "Five minutes, I think I've got time." Ark stood and head to the spot she mentioned. "I hope you don't intend on fighting me." Ark turned and smiled. "You'll lose, my young friend. I have centuries more experience then you." He drew his sword and leveled it at her "But if you're so content, I don't mind playing for a bit. The Wraith has been slow as of recently anyway." He gave a calm smile. "Come." OOC: A fight, this should be good, I wonder if Hanshou likes people fighting over her hehe

"Why, I was told this was a restaurant of some kind, but I thought that I had the wrong place, I mean this looks more like a house than anything else," Grit then noticed that it was the same person as he had seen at the cafe' I wonder if I really did get the wrong place, or if I was fooled. Grit then put on his inquisitive smile and followed Hanshou.

OOC;`...What is Grit doing? Is he just standing at the door by himself? XD Yes, she does like having people fight over her. XDDD
Hanshou chuckled. "A restaurant? That's quite interesting..." She grinned before leaving, "Maybe it is a restaurant, but disguised as a house."
When Hanshou rejoined the rest, she saw Ark with his sword drawn at Kinoko. She looked at him quizically and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Please, sheathe your sword."
She was about go run back into the house when something caught her eye. It can't be! Perhaps she has finally realized how charming and good-looking Drey was! Or it was the box of dark chocolate that caught her eye. Yeah, it was the chocolate. She looked at it and smiled. "Who are those for?" Her glance trailed to the arrangement of flowers assorted into a dazzling bouquet that he held. "And those flowers? They're beautiful!" Of course, she already knew who they were for. A girl just has to ask, right?
Hanshou then turned to Kinoko since she was doing all the talking for Drey. "Well, I was asking him if he cooks because I would be very impressed if he did." She paused and added, "I think I would enjoy a homecooked meal more than a fancy restaurant. It would be a more comfortable environment, andd it could be fancy if you want." Ahh, Hanshou, the hopeless romantic. Who ever knew this side of her? Of course, she always sighs or admires the cuteness of those couples. Were you watching?

OOC: OK I changed my post so now I'm following you
As he followed Hanshou she said "Maybe its a restaurant disguised as a house." Grit then asked "Well which one is it?", while she was leading him to the back he was looking around at the house when she said yet another strange thing, "please sheath your sword" who would have an unsheathed sword in a restaurant, let alone now a days if he fights with that he won't win.
"Who are those for?" Grit then looked at where she was looking and saw a man with flowers and dark chocolate some people are just lucky. "And those flowers? They're beautiful" Well I wonder your the only female human here and i seems he knows that the fox over there is a demon.
"Well, I was asking him if he cooks because I would be very impressed if he did." Funny so he is after her this might be better than a movie."I think I would enjoy a homecooked meal more than a fancy restaurant. It would be a more comfortable environment, andd it could be fancy if you want" I now think I have reason to believe that this is NOT a restaurant.
OOC: There are some mistakes in here cause I copy pasted and left it the way it was.

./OOC;` You're supposed to clean them of mistakes, just a reminder.
Kinoko grinned at the swordpoint leveled at her eyes, waving Hanshou away as if she were spiderwebs. Ok, fine, silver spiderwebs, happy? No? Deal with it, "A fight, my dear Sir? I would love one. Would you like to go the back alley where there are no witnesses? Yes? Good. Matt, stay here. I don't want him getting all desperate and going after you; after all, I might not be able to stop myself after that," Kinoko smiled sweetly up at the bird demon, still in her role as an innocent -cough- little girl, "Hanshou, that can be arranged too... But you and Drey can work it out. Matthew, Artemis, stay with Drey, will you? Now, Sir, if you would please follow me?" and she led the way down the hall, out the door, and to the side alley where, after removing a couple of loose boards, revealed a spacious, unused driveway, "Would you like to take the first move?" she inquired, sweeping a mocking bow in a show of false courtesy.
Drey had watched the magic working in amusement, toying idly with the stem of the flowers - muffling an oath when he pricked himself of a thorn Kinoko must have left there for just that purpose - when Hanshou came in. Lo and behold, she had inquired as to his gifts! What luck! He got up, sweeping an elegant bow, hardly aware of the departure of two people [since I'm assuming Ark followed her], "Milady Hanshou, to whom would I give these paltry gifts to but you? Who else could be so worthy? I agree they are lovely, but they pale in significance before your own beauty, and I humbly beg that you accept these from my lowly hands, as well as my invitation to dinner at my house, hopefully tonight, if you will spare me the honor." Well, the lad does know how to turn a pretty phrase if nothing else.
Matthew picked a blueberry off of his tart, watching the scene between Drey and Hanshou with amusement and craning his ears to catch the first sounds of the fight that was sure to start. [glow=silver,2,300]...walking this road without you... remaking forgotten promises... to meet you at road's end... Ark smiled, his sword waving slightly. "You know, you really shouldn't have done that display with the flowers. You showed me your magic, even before you had a chance to use it. It will be a costly mistake I'm afraid." He transformed into his demi form. "Plus, I suggest you don't hold back, I never do, and just because you are a little girl it won't be any different." He bowed to her, and then, without raising, let a blast of his white hot fire blast out from his hand which he'd placed behind his back. "First move, care to retort?"

./OOC;` Hey, Vivi, kusko? XD Since you guys are in a totally different room, conversation, blah blah, I'm just gonna post, k? ^^ And because you all know exactly how much I love fights. XD
Kinoko beamed at him, still sweet, "Oh, but I know more than just that, Sir. My daddy taught me well, he did." BS. Lucius had taught her some blade skills, that was all. But that's ok, he didn't need to know that.
With no need for her own concious thought, Larxene, Artemis' substitute, stretched and condensed herself into a solid wind-shield - no wiipers, thank you very much - to protect her mistress, cussing at Ark with a series of unintelligible whistles and hisses. After all, breezes don't exactly have human voice you know.
"Is that what you call a first move?" Kinoko scoffed, abandoning all pretenses of being an "innocent little girl", if she ever was one in her life. She snapped, putting just a little extra thought into her ready made cyclone than was absolutely necessary to make sure that her creation wouldn't fuel her opponents' fire magic.
Yay!! Finally, a fight! [glow=silver,2,300]...walking this road without you... remaking forgotten promises... to meet you at road's end... [/glow]

OOC: *claps for Kinoko* I am quite impressed! You actually thought ahead to prevent my fire magic from being amplified by your wind. And I was going to use that as leverage, oh well, on to plan B Ark let one eyebrow raise. "Not bad, 'little girl'. But that was merely a warm up." Ark rushed forward. "How well will you handle this?!" He charged his sword with his white hot magic and cut, not through the shield, but under it, giving him just enough yield to get under it himself. He placed a palm on her chest and focused his spell. "Surrender, I would not like to see you dead."

./OOC;` I always thought of it. XD I thought of it before I planned on taking on a bird for amusement. XD But Kinoko's spell has no leverage, therefore you can't put anything underneath it. XD But I'll humor you, just remember that. XD
Kinoko tutted, "Dearie me, putting your hand on the chest of a girl you hardly know. I should report you for sexual harrassment you know," and she pushed back herself, using not her body but her wind magic, forcibly enough to shove him back so she could dispel Larxene's protection and duck to avoid whatever spells he might toss at her, pulling out one of her smaller handguns - not wishing to use her favorites just yet - to fire out every bullet in its semi-automatic barrel, leaping backwards out of his range when she was done. Her spread out to have done some damage... [glow=silver,2,300]...walking this road without you... remaking forgotten promises... to meet you at road's end... [/glow]

"Close," He watched as she flew back "But you underestimate my range." He focused and sent a wave of his super heated spell at her, shaped simply as a wall. The bullets she'd fired were super heated nearly melted, so as they hit their damage had been reduced as much of the bullet substance was melted off. "I said I didn't want to kill you, but I won't hesitate to if I must." OOC: Sorry bout the shield thing, I wasn't clear as to its shape so I assumed it was like a floating wall of some sort. Oh well, still going

OOC: I'm probably going to leave this thread (I'm too lazy to do all the threads plus this thread is well not very good for my character) plus wouldn't the bullets burn you if your super heated them to melting point, I mean they wouldn't coll off that fast.

./OOC;` *claps* Way to have an explanation!! ^^ I've RPed with people who do things and have no explanation for it... >> FIE ON THEM SAYS I!! And I'm just going to assume that the wall was heading towards Kinoko. XD
Kinoko sighed in exasperation, "Talk about waste of money," she complained as Lucia lifted her swiftly into the air, well above the flames, even as she reloaded her gun and stashed it away wherever she hides it on her person. In a flash, two throwing daggers were in her hand and she flung them with deadly accuracy at Ark. Would he notice the difference with these particular knives and figure out how to deal with them? Hnn...
