The rain pored hard on the mountains. It had been this way for weeks now luckily this city was used to this kind of rain. They had many different anti-flooding objects that worked quiet well. Jerik was visiting some great(x) grandchildren when the rain started. The city was known for the odd rain and for some reason attracted several visitors during the year. The wind would be treacherous out side of the city but inside the city for some reason you could easily get from place to place with the only incontinence being that you get drenched.

OOC;` With all the rain, these flame-throwing birds would be extinguised, eh?
Hmm...Why would Hanshou be here up in the mountains? Maybe she was just hiking, or maybe visiting the town. XD Hanshou held up an umbrella and strolled through the streets. The rain was nice. The soft pounding of it hitting the ground and the fresh scent of rain. She stood under an eave in front of a bakery as the sweet aroma drew people into it.

Fahru perched on the rooftop, sitting close to a chimney, and let the rain soak her. It had been a while since she had been to this particular city --this blessed city. The rain washed away sicknesses carried by air, it provided a fresh water supply to a city far away from a real river, and it kept the citizens from using their powers in harm.
It was almost utopia...
Whoever said rain was bad weather obviously hadn't had enough of it. Fahru leaned back and pressed her head against the chimney bricks. Below, vendors called out their wares in covered stalls, while a rainbow of umbrellas flooded the street.
And since we have higher internal heating systems, we don't catch colds from the rain as often. Fahru added this on her mental list of Why This City Is Good.
Perhaps if the birds developed the power of water instead of fire, they would be able to wash away The Disease? Fahru followed this train of thought in circles before letting her eyelids droop. The demon's heartbeat and breathing slowed with her body tilting to the side...

Rain, pouring down in sheets, and as she held out her hand, she could see that she was temporarily shielding the sopping wet pavement beneath her feet a few seconds of reprieve before the cascading waterfall streamed over her hand and splashed back down to the concrete. Rain is the source of life, or water is. Water causes the plants to grow, and animals can eat said plants, humans can kill the aforementioned creatures, and demons can sit back and watch as this circle is repeated, over and over again. And they can laugh. Even though they happen to endure such similar entrapments themselves.
Kinoko was taking a moonlit walk through the all-but deserted village. Her sharply-tuned ears could just barely make out the sounds of some disturbances a hill's crest away, coming from the Infirmary, no doubt.
Just the rain, just how the wet clings to her skin, chilling her deliciously like nothing else could. A moonlit walk indeed. [glow=silver,2,300]...walking this road without you... remaking forgotten promises... and meet you at road's end... [/glow]

OOC: wow...hmm..don't want this to waste away..no one's interacting. XDXD Alright, I'll see what I can do...
Hanshou leaned against the wall and let out a deep sigh. In such a relaxed state, she was. (haha. it was poetic/strangely formed sentence) When she was in her most relaxed state, she was calm, and most likely, thinking. Thinking, reflecting, contemplating. Not about any specific matters, but it was somewhat a form of meditation for her. This peaceful state of mind was shattered when she noticed some recognizable figure walking in the rain. Is that..? Why is she in the rain?. Hanshou walked on out with her umbrella and came up behind Kinoko, holding up the umbrella to give protection to them both. "Are you sick yet, or what?" she said jokingly with a grin.

No more rain, no more wetness, a slight release in frigidity... Kinoko looked up... and scowled. A blasted umbrella,
"I'm trying to catch pneumonia, can't you see?" she asked conversationally, stepping out from underneath the reach of the umbrella's edges, "I can't do that with you babying me with your horrid umbrella," she rolled her eyes in exasperation.
./OOC;` Vivi, do you want to take Kharl? 'Cuz I think six would look better in my signature... XDDD [glow=silver,2,300]...walking this road without you... remaking forgotten promises... and meet you at road's end... [/glow]

Hanshou just laughed at her. "Alright, alright. Well, are you done yet?" she asked, pulling on Kinoko's arm to drag her under the shelter of a roof. "Besides, what do you have against my umbrella? It never hurt you." Hanshou wrinkled her nose. "My goodness, you're soaked to the skin."
OOC; XDD Do I have to? XD I'll pass on it.

Jerik left his great(x) grand children’s to do a little bit shopping. He held little like for the rain has he walked in his new coat and ragged umbrella. He ended up getting lost on his way to the store and started to wonder around like a lost animal occasionally bumping into random people. Jerik was out of it he had not been able to get a decent amount of sleep ever since he had arrived because the room he had been staying in magnified the sound of the rain.

Kinoko grimaced, "Hey, some of us happen to like the rain; don't discriminate. There's nothing wrong with being wet; you're just way too picky. Come on! We can do the Lithuanian Rain Dance!! Then we'll have..." she performed a weak imitation of a drumroll, "MORE RAIN!!" Yes, nothing like a bit of percipitation from the skies to add to insanity.
./OOC;` Omega, you're gonna have to do more than that... ^^;;;;

Hanshou continued to gaze amusingly at Kinoko, who was seemingly, let us say, acting more unusual than the usual Kinoko-norm.
"What makes you think that I do not like the rain, myself? I happen love the rain, and in those moments of spontaneity, being in the pouring rain is nice." She set her umbrella aside to let in the rain and grinned. "Plus, you got the rain dance all wrong."

"Weeell..." Kinoko drawled, "You've got an umbrella for one, I mean, who actually needs those useless things? Honestly!" She hopped into a puddle like a four-year-old on crack [something you honestly do NOT wanna see], sending water flying everywhere,
"How am I doing the dance wrong? I haven't even started!" she retorted, rather half-heartedly, as she had absolutely no flipping clue as to what the Lithuanian Rain Dance looked like.
